Sport Fish Run Time
When sport fishing Alaska, timing and location are everything. You must be where and when the fish are to catch them, and our Pacific salmon are often where and when you are not! Sport Fishing Season
This table indicates when sport fish are present (little fish) or at their peak availability (larger fish) in salt water of the Kenai Peninsula, except for that area adjacent to Whittier. Communities include Kenai, Soldotna, Homer, Seward, Anchor River, Nikiski, and Hope.

This table indicates the presence of fish in the area, but not the legal fishing season. Some areas may be closed, so be sure to check a current regulation summary before planning your trip.
